FRBV26 CAEC - SHARE Identity Welcome, presentation of the itinerary

The activity took place on the first day of the hosting week in France. The programme began with a formal welcome from the School Principal, followed by a briefing on essential guidelines and safety recommendations to ensure a smooth and successful week.  They were also given advice as to the expected behaviour and the rules in the school.The French teachers in charge then  welcomed the students and gave them an informative  booklet about the week.

We looked altogether at the programme and the students received some general recommendations  to prevent any problems with families and host friends.

Then, the students worked in pairs (French and fpartner) on the booklets. The captions to the photos in the booklet were voluntarily missing, Working in collaboration with their partners, the students completed the booklet by identifying and labeling the corresponding images for each location. The French students had to speak to their partners to share their knowledge about the different places.

The students discovered the different places they would visit during the week and learnt about them (culture, history, geography, connection with the RESpectOl Project) . They were all very active and engaged in the activity. They strengthened the bonds with their partner by helping each other. They were able to measure the importance of the Erasmus+ project by being received by the school Erasmus team and coordinator and seeing that this project involved a group of people ready to help them and feel comfortable for the week. They practised both listening and speaking English while working on the booklet. They also heard about the rules in the school and the importance of respect.
