The Erasmus group visited the Museo Nazionale della Scienza e della Tecnologia in Milan, one of the most important science museums in Europe. The visit offered students the opportunity to explore exhibitions related to scientific discoveries, technological innovation, engineering, and applied sciences, with particular attention to their impact on society and daily life. Students observed historical and modern scientific instruments, interactive installations, and thematic sections dedicated to energy, transport, communication, and industrial development. The museum setting encouraged active exploration, questioning, and discussion among students, promoting learning through observation and experience. Throughout the visit, students were invited to engage with the exhibits, reflect on scientific processes, and connect theoretical knowledge to real-world applications, in line with the Erasmus focus on experiential and interdisciplinary learning.

The visit strengthened students’ MSTE competences and scientific curiosity, enhancing their understanding of how scientific knowledge and technological innovation develop through research, experimentation, and determination. Students demonstrated active engagement and interest, reflecting the Olympic value of Engage, and recognised the importance of Will and perseverance in scientific progress. The activity also encouraged critical thinking, collaborative discussion, and a greater appreciation of science and technology as key drivers of innovation and European culture.
