The conference featured two guest speakers: Dr. Bozzetti, a sports doctor, and Mr. Beltrami, an Olympic canoeist who competed in Tokyo in 1964. Dr. Bozzetti gave an engaging and informative talk on healthy eating habits for teenagers, focusing in particular on the needs of young people who play sports. He explained the importance of balanced meals, proper hydration, regular meal times, and avoiding processed foods and sugary drinks. He also gave practical advice, such as including fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and proteins in daily meals, and ensuring that snacks before and after physical activity support energy levels and recovery. Mr. Beltrami focused on the topic of fair play, sharing personal stories from his time as an Olympic athlete to highlight the values of respect, honesty, and teamwork in both sport and everyday life.

The event was interactive and multilingual. Italian students actively participated by translating both presentations into English for the international audience, helping everyone follow and engage with the content. This also encouraged peer learning and improved students’ communication skills. The conference was built around the Olympic value Engage / Body, emphasizing physical health, ethical behavior, and the role of sport in personal development.
