During the Erasmus+ hosting week, Italian students and their guests from France (including Guadeloupe) and Greece took part in a day trip to Verona. The visit focused on discovering the city’s artistic and historical landmarks, with particular attention to its world-famous cultural heritage.

Students explored the ancient Roman Arena, a symbol of Italy’s archaeological richness and ongoing cultural life. They also visited Juliet’s House, where they reflected on the global influence of Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet as a shared literary reference that transcends national boundaries, and the fortified Castelvecchio Bridge over the Adige river.

Students experienced the connection between place, story, and identity—comparing local history with familiar cultural elements from their own countries. They took photos, made observations, and shared impressions, creating a collective experience of heritage that was both emotional and educational.
