In the afternoon, following the morning trip to Verona, the Erasmus+ group visited the town of Sirmione, located on the southern shore of Lake Garda. Italian students and their peers from France, Guadeloupe, and Greece explored the historical centre and the natural surroundings together, enjoying the unique combination of medieval architecture, Roman remains, and the scenic beauty of Italy’s largest lake.

Walking through the old town, around the Scaligero Castle, and along the lakefront, students observed and discussed the historical importance and visual charm of the location. The setting of Lake Garda added to the cultural and emotional impact of the experience, highlighting the connection between nature and heritage. The visit encouraged spontaneous conversation about the preservation of cultural and natural sites, and the value of shared heritage in European identity.
