12 nov. 2024The 6th year students are preparing for their final set of official State exams where they hope to perform to the best of their ability. Therefore, they regularly complete in class tests to assess their learning and performance.
One of the 6th year Irish groups completed a test about a piece of Irish literature called ‘Oisín i dTír na nÓg’. The aim of this was to give the students the opportunity to practice answering questions which have come up in previous exams and to receive detailed feedback based on their answers. Being able to perform under pressure is a key to their success at the end of the programme. As it reflecting on their work and being able to address feedback. This process allowed them to embrace those challenges.
Attached are some examples of students’ work. It is clear that they put a lot of work into preparing for this test and they have performed well as a result.
