Irish language Presentations

These 3^rd year students have shown a huge amount of independence in Irish lessons over the past two weeks. They have been independently working on a classroom based assessment for which they had to pick a topic they were interested in, conduct their own research based on the topic and create a presentation showcasing their findings. The aim for today’s lesson was to continue researching their chosen topic and begin work on a PowerPoint presentation to showcase what they have learned. Here you can see the students carrying out independent work. All of the work they are doing is in our native language, Irish. The next stage is that they will stand up in front of their peers and do a presentation in Irish. This will represent a challenge for them but also build their confidence.
