IT26 DC SCHOOL MAGAZINE
20 mars 2026The aim of the activity is to promote DC competences by developing students’ ability to create, manage, and share digital content through the collaborative production of a school magazine. Encourage the responsible and creative use of digital tools for writing, editing, graphic design, communication, and online publication. Develop digital communication, media literacy, and information management skills through research, content selection, collaborative writing, image editing, and layout creation. Foster teamwork, problem-solving, and project-planning abilities while encouraging students to reflect critically on how digital media can inform, connect, and engage a community.
Strengthen students’ awareness of digital citizenship by promoting respectful online communication, responsible use of sources and images, and conscious participation in the digital environment.
Following the celebrations of International Mother Language Day at school, students collaborated on the creation of a digital school magazine focused on intercultural themes, multilingualism, and shared experiences from the Erasmus activities. Working in mixed groups, students collected ideas, photographs, interviews, reflections, and reports connected to the workshops, cultural presentations, and exchanges that had taken place during the event.
Using digital tools for writing, editing, graphic design, and layout preparation, students contributed articles in different languages and reflected on the importance of communication across cultures. Particular attention was given to themes such as cultural identity, inclusion, traditions, languages, and the value of diversity within the school community.
The activity encouraged students to transform their experiences into digital content intended to inform and engage the wider school community. Through collaborative planning and creative work, students experienced the process of producing a shared publication while developing awareness of responsible and effective digital communication. The activity includes also students with disabilities, offering them a chance to contribute with their creativity and personal skills.
