Well done to our debate team who took part in their fifth debate against Firhouse ETS Dublin, as part of their round of 32 Concern Worldwide debating competition. Acting as the proposition, the motion ‘significant progress is being made towards achieving gender equality in the 21st century’ was evenly debated.
Students, under the guidance of Mr Hodgins, had prepared for a tough opposition with both teams defending their arguments to a high standard.
Now we wait in anticipation to hear if we can further our winning streak!!
