On June 5, 2025, nine students from the Collège visited the Moule media library. They benefited from the Micro Folies tour. This is a program funded by the Ministry of Culture for people who are far from cultural venues: museums, exhibitions, etc., allowing them to virtually discover various works and visit a museum using a 3D headset. For this visit, priority was given to works that explore Caribbean identity. The aim was to compare European masterpieces with local or diasporic artistic expressions (music, visual arts, crafts, rituals) to reveal a dialogue, an imbalance, or a crossbreeding. Some of the chosen works referred to colonial history (18th-century paintings, representations of Africa and the Caribbean). The aim was to question how they contribute to the construction of imposed or stereotypical identities. Students were able to encounter works from all continents and all eras in order to encourage them to move beyond a Eurocentric approach to knowledge. Students were able to question whether a place like the Micro-Folie gives space to diminished memories. By comparing World Heritage and local identity, they were able to question the resonances between world history and the history of their territory. Otherness and Recognition: By comparing one's own experiences with foreign works, we question the foundations of identity: similarities, differences, and cultural diversity. They were also able to discover Guadeloupe's heritage sites using a virtual reality headset (colonial dwellings, Caribbean archaeological sites, military forts, etc.)

Expanded access to major international collections. Discovery of works of art or heritage that are not readily available locally. Better understanding of art history, trends, and dialogues between cultures. Development of skills in using digital tools. Acquisition of new knowledge in history, geography, visual arts, and heritage. Increased motivation through the use of digital technology (immersive museum, tablets, interactive tools). Stimulation of a sense of belonging and pride (by linking the collections to Guadeloupean realities: slavery, Creole identity, carnival, nature). Development of a critical perspective.
