A few kilometres away from Casalmaggiore, stands Torrechiara Castle. The students had a free visit of the castle to explore its history and its magnificent wall paintings. Once more, the Italian hosts were happy to share their knowledge about the castle and medieval traditions to their fellow exchange students. Construction of the castle started in 1448 under the patronage of Pier Maria Rossi, Count of San Secondo, a prominent military figure serving the Visconti of Milan. Recognizing the strategic importance of controlling access to Liguria and Tuscany via the Parma river, Rossi wanted to build a castle on a terraced hill. Originally conceived for military defense, the castle was chosen as Rossi's residential palace, where he lived with his beloved Bianca Pellegrini da Arluno. As soon as the castle visit concluded, the students were dressed in traditional medieval clothes and given instruments, preparing them for the choreographies they had learned the previous day. After a final rehearsal, the performance began with a parade  through the picturesque streets of Torrechiara.

With their newfound drumming skills and ability to maintain tempo, the students brought rhythm to the circle dances and the flag-waving show performed in traditional medieval clothing. The medieval setting and costumes enhanced the students' performance, giving full meaning to the values of cooperation and heritage. After thunderous applause, all the students were gathered under the castle's main entrance, still clad in their traditional outfits, for a group picture to commemorate this celebration of heritage.
