Students explored the meaning of fair play and the impact of unfair play by means of drama activities which helped  them develop communication and of social interaction skills within the group,

Objectives and skills

Increase confidence in pubblic presentation,

explore and learn a range of possible behaviors within life experiences and build upon these experiences

promote personal and social learning within the context of drama

reflect/analyze human behaviors; personality types and life situations within the context of drama

Promote creativity by utilizing thinking, feeling and the body in solutions to problems in communication

Develop teamwork to accomplish common goals

Integrate students’ understanding and knowledge of drama with the study of other academic disciplines

Students took part in the activities being aware that fair play is not only in sport, but also in life.

 

Drama club in the school is designed to educate students about theatre and to teach them how to work together in groups, think critically, use their imagination, discover new ideas, and solve problems. Students learn how to improve their focus, self-confidence, and social skills. Students will be expected to work to the best of their ability to achieve group and individual success.

Students took part into two drama clubs held in the afternoon. One was focused on the musical “Grease”, the other one was based on improvisation and developed creative writing

 Lessons were led by a professional actors.
