OnThursday 14th March, , the Erasmus Olympic Games were organized with a delegation of student athletes from each country: Italy, Greece, France, and Poland. The day began with the opening ceremony and the parade of delegations. Each delegation had a student waving the country flag, while others held signs promoting values such as peace, equality, loyalty, respect, participation, solidarity, and friendship. The parade was led by five students dressed in identical outfits, each equipped with a colored ring, which together recreated the Olympic symbol. As the delegations marched around the running track, national anthems were broadcast through speakers. The opening ceremony concluded with some students delivering short speeches about Olympic values, followed by a dance symbolizing solidarity and unity. Then they took part in track and field sports competitions (sprint running, long jump, shot put, Swedish relay) embracing the spirit of the Olympic games and cultivating the value of inclusion. Disabled people of the local association took part in the game where all the participants shared the experience of empathizing with each other while competing in a spirit of joy and fair play.They talked about the challenges and the joy that this activity gives. Students tried to understand the everyday life of a disabled person.
Results : The students experience the spirit of inclusion of the Olympics and Paralympics games, they develop their ability to constructively participate in community activities, they enhance their knowledge of Olympic sports and the connected values.
