IT26 LC Preparation and rehearsal for Mother Language Day
14 mars 2026Students participating in the Erasmus Congress, together with students of different nationalities attending IIS Romani in Casalmaggiore, worked together to prepare the spaces and materials for the workshops planned for the following day’s International Mother Language Day.
Students from Ireland, Greece, France, and Slovakia collaborated with their Italian host partners and teachers to organise activities focused on language, culture, traditions, music, and dance. Each group prepared presentations, visual materials, and interactive elements that would allow participants to discover the characteristics of their country and cultural background.
The preparation took place in a collaborative and lively atmosphere, with students sharing ideas, organising displays, and rehearsing parts of their presentations. The activity allowed participants to work creatively while preparing to represent their cultural identities.
The activity strengthened students’ sense of belonging and pride in their linguistic and cultural heritage. Working together encouraged engagement, cooperation, and intercultural exchange, creating a positive environment where diversity was valued as a shared resource. Students demonstrated enthusiasm and responsibility in preparing the workshops, gaining confidence in presenting their traditions and languages to an international audience.
