The visit began with the visit to Palamidi fortress and continued with a  walking tour of Nafplio’s Old Town, where students observed the blend of Venetian, Ottoman, and Greek architecture, discussing how different civilizations coexisted.

During our visit in the  Nafplio’s Old Town we had a short guided tour, where we learned about its history, its strategic importance. We then continued our visit in Nafplio, walking through the old town and exploring its cultural and historical landmarks.

This experience was closely connected to the Olympic values. While exploring the city together, we practiced friendship and respect, as we collaborated, shared knowledge, and appreciated the cultural heritage of the area. Overall, this visit helped us better understand how history, culture, and the Olympic values are connected in real life.

Students gained a deeper appreciation for Greece’s historical evolution and its impact on modern identity. They enhanced their critical thinking and intercultural understanding, linking the experience to Olympic values of respect, friendship, and heritage.
