In groups, the students explored the Tatra Gallery in Poprad that features a permanent exhibition of art by prominent Slovak artists, as well as temporary exhibitions. They learnt about the local artists and could see their works of arts in three different exhibitions of paintings, glass work and sculptures. 

 

Afterwards, a tie-dye workshop taught them how to create their own T-shirts in vibrant fabric patterns using various techniques while developing their own aesthetic skills and cooperating in teams to design unique patterns. 

 

They all also enjoyed the lecture on local art of the Tatra region and the history of the former steam power plant building where the gallery presents its activities. 

 

The students joyfully cooperated in discovering the cultural heritage of the region and created their own trendy custom items.
