SK25 CAE JOY Poprad City Tour Challenge
17 oct. 2025The Poprad City Tour Challenge invited four student teams to discover the town’s rich history, architecture, and spirit through six interactive missions.
Using GPS, students located the commemorative plaque of Dávid Husz, learning about his contributions to tourism and museology in the region. They captured the High Tatras in the background of a joyful group photo, highlighting Poprad’s role as the gateway to the mountains. In a playful twist, two teammates reenacted the iconic Titanic scene in front of the POPRAD sign, blending humor with local identity. At the Old Church and Renaissance Bell Tower, students gave mini-lectures, sharing historical insights with their peers. The fountain in front of the Evangelical Church became a stage for imaginative “fishing” photos, while the mural commemorating the 1968 invasion sparked reflection and team unity in a group photo.
Each mission encouraged movement, creativity, and teamwork, while deepening students’ connection to Poprad’s cultural heritage. The activity blended learning with joy, turning the city into a living classroom full of discovery and shared experience.
Teams left with stronger bonds, new knowledge of Poprad, and a joyful sense of place.
