Firstly, students chose the melody of a famous popular song that would be used for the Olympic anthem. They agreed on the song Nice to meet you by Miles Smith. They searched for the notes of the song and started to create the lyrics according to the notes. The main point of the lyrics was to join all countries of this Erasmus project - Ireland, France, Italy, Greece, Guadeloupe and Slovakia. They lyrics is bilingual - Slovak and English, so that it covers Slovak language and its culture but also gives a chance for everyone to understand and sing a song. 

After being done  with lyrics, students kept on rehearsing singing with the piano, later they joined singing with karaoke version of the original song. They decided to choose a solo singer who sang the strophes and the reffrein was sung all together. 

Finally, on the day of the Olympic games, the anthem was presented by singers at the school area at the opening and closing ceremony. The lyrics was handed to all participants so that they could sing the anthem with singers. 

 

The students made the text of the song according to music and learnt to sing it. Due to creating the anthem, students learnt to cooperate, to understand and experienc the Olympic values.
