SK25 CAE Heritage Sherpa Museum Visit
16 oct. 2025Students with their teachers visited the Swiss House, which is the museum of legendary carriers who used to carry or still do so goods and other essentials to various mountain cottages where no other way of bringing the supplies is possible. They took part at the lecture with one of the carriers, tried out how heavy cargo they can carry and for how long. They cooperated and helped each other by loading and carrying the cargo.
Students learnt new facts about a very specific job they had never heard of before, asked questions, learnt about the history of this particular job, its challenges, drawbacks but also its importance for the society.
After, they all visited Triklandia museum, which is a museum of trick art that creates visual illusion. They had a lot of fun there, they cooperated and interacted with each other and created strong friendship bounds.
The students joyfully cooperated in discovering the cultural heritage of the region.
