Student Training – “Online Onlife” Project

 

“Online Onlife: A Guide to the Responsible Use of Digital Technology” is a national educational initiative aimed at promoting digital awareness and online responsibility among students in Italy.

Target audience:   Students in lower and upper secondary schools (middle and high schools). 35 students of IIS Romani took part

The program was structured into 10 modules, totaling 10 to 20 hours of training

Topics covered: Cyberbullying, Online safety. Fake news, Hate speech, Digital addiction. The students met with authorities in Milan (Region Building) and were given their diploma

At the end of the course, students participated in a creative multimedia contest: they had to create content (videos, podcasts, articles, interactive presentations, art campaigns, etc.) related to key digital topics like digital identity, AI, misinformation, and cybersecurity.

2025 Edition: 127 schools, 325 classes, and a total of 6,247 students participated. 550 students from 22 finalist classes submitted 38 multimedia projects. 16 finalists were selected. The students on our school were 3rd and Awards were presented at the Italian Chamber of Deputies on June 4, 2025.
