Windsurfing is a wind propelled water sport that is a combination of sailing and surfing. It is also referred to as "sailboarding" and "boardsailing", and emerged in the late 1960s from the Californian aerospace and surf culture. Windsurfing gained a popular following across Europe and North America by the late 1970s and had achieved significant global popularity by the 1980s. Windsurfing became an Olympic sport in 1984.

Students gathered at the sailing club of Alimos , a club that has promoted many Olympic award winning athletes.

A teacher of Windsurf helped students understand the basics of sailing activities, and the basic safety rules of sea sailing activities.
Students had the chance to learn from a professional the secrets of Windsurfing, which is an Olympic Sport since 1984.

After a short but very helpful lesson, students had the chance to try their skills in Windsurfing.
They all had a lot of fun. The weather was perfect for swimming and after the lesson they all had a great time in the sea

Students have socialized with peers from other countries. Participating in a non-competitive sport activities are the basis for creating connections between them. They developed strength, balance and coordination skills, concentration, precision and speed. It was a real success. The good weather made the event very pleasant.
