The farewell party was a vibrant celebration of friendship, cultural diversity, and the Erasmus spirit. Held in the main hall of our school, students and teachers came together to enjoy an evening filled with laughter, music, and delicious food. The event started with a warm welcome, followed by a buffet of traditional dishes, offering participants a taste of Greek cuisine alongside specialties from the students' home countries. This culinary journey provided a unique opportunity to explore different cultures through flavors and traditions. As the evening unfolded, students took on the role of DJs, curating a playlist of popular songs from their own countries. The room quickly filled with energy as everyone danced, sang, and embraced the joy of togetherness. The shared love for music created a bond beyond language barriers, reinforcing the power of cultural exchange. Lively conversations and heartfelt moments made the night even more special. Teachers also engaged in fruitful discussions, exchanging insights on educational systems, teaching methods, and Erasmus+ experiences, strengthening future collaboration. Countless photos and videos were captured to preserve these unforgettable memories, serving as a reminder of the strong friendships and meaningful connections built during the Erasmus program. Events like this reinforce the core European values of unity, respect, and cooperation, showing that trust and friendship are the foundation of a strong Europe. Students had the chance to reflect on their experiences through presentations and discussions. They shared their feelings about being part of the Erasmus+ team, the friendships they formed, and the most memorable aspects of their visit to Greece. Topics of discussion included cultural differences, similarities, the value of European collaborations and the Olympic ideals, such as teamwork, respect, and excellence, align with the goals of the program. Students received small souvenirs, to commemorate their time in Greece.
Students successfully presented their reflections, improving their confidence and public speaking skills. They enhanced their language abilities by communicating with peers from other countries and developed a deeper understanding of the Olympic values and their historical origins. The week was a celebration of cultural exchange and teamwork skill development.
