First, the students discussed the difference between rights and responsibilities, as well as the key principles of modern human rights. Then, they worked with photos of different children, discussing where these children might come from and when the photos were taken. After that, they watched a video about child labor in Europe during the Industrial Revolution and led a discussion about child labor during that time.         In the next phase, the students were divided into five groups and described their schedules for two days a week (one weekday and one weekend day) as accurately as possible. They tried to figure out how children’s schedules have changed over the years. Then, they read materials containing true stories of children living during the Industrial Revolution and created schedules for these children in the same way. Finally, in the form of posters, they presented the comparisons of their schedules and the schedules of children from the stories.

The targeted aims were fulfilled. The students joyfully cooperated in the activity, discussed different aspects of human rights and responsibilities and presented their posters.
