The first aim of the action was to raise awareness of diversity and its representation in society and in sports competitions. To do so, the students were given a series of links to film trailers whose synopsis is based on the treatment of diversity of all kinds (linked to history, racism, sexism, gender, disability...). In pairs, they chose one, watched the excerpt and studied the related posters to identify the issues addressed in the film and the way the protagonists react and cope with them.

That phase led them to reflect on the link with the RESpectOL project: which values are promoted? What lesson can we learn from the film that can be put into practice in real life?

Then, they created a document in French and in English including some general information about the film (director, date of release), a short summary of the synopsis and the connections that can be made with the RESpectOL project.

They added a photo of the poster of the film.

After that research and writing activity, they made an oral presentation of their work to the class, which was followed by a discussion.

Finally, all the productions were compiled in a slideshow to be inserted on the blog.
