On Thursday morning we gathered on the premises of Villa Siesta for the final meeting with the coach Tatiana Husarova and three Slovak students who volunteered to take part. After the warm-up exercise focusing on intuition development we were given some advice useful for our future coaching practice with students. Then we were proposed to coach three students by using specific coaching tools e.g. „if yes/if not“, „plot switch“ while the students introduced real particular problems they were dealing with. The session and discussion with students was full of emotions. 

At the end of the morning the principal of the Slovak secondary school Gymnazium Kukucinova, Poprad Beata Taylorova joined us to conclude the course and give the certificates of attendance to all participants. 

 

The final session of the coaching course focused on applying specific coaching methods while solving particular student’s problems.Different techniques that teachers can use to help students face various challenges were presented. The goal was to practice the coaching techniques our partners gained while taking the course.  

 

Our partners obtained the certificates of attendance at the end of the training.
