SK24 CAE RECONCILIATION Coaching Training For Teachers, part 2

On Wednesday morning we gathered in the premises of the historic building - Reduta in Poprad for another meeting with the coach Tatiana Husárová. The topic of the day was coaching tools and new methods applied to addressing students' problems in their life decisions and situations. The techniques focused on self-development, motivation, overcoming fears, indecision, and boosting self-confidence. Tatiana worked with teachers from partner countries and demonstrated methods for working with students who are stuck in their own world and cannot escape their problems. (The students visualize an image of their strength, which motivates and drives them forward. This exercise encourages them to tap into their inner resources and recognize their potential, helping them to overcome obstacles and challenges in their lives). In the afternoon, our partners, along with Tatiana, conducted sessions with selected students to address specific situations aimed at supporting self-confidence and personal development.

Today's conference for teachers focused on various methods to provide support to students and help them find a way out of their difficult situations. The workshop presented different techniques that teachers can use to create an open and encouraging environment where students feel safe to express their thoughts and concerns. Specific exercises and activities were also introduced to promote personal growth and the ability to face challenges. The goal was to equip teachers with tools to effectively work with students who feel trapped in their problems and need guidance and support on their path to change. Tatiana emphasized the importance of empathy and understanding from teachers, as well as the need to build trust between teachers and students, so they can better comprehend their situations and contribute to their positive development.
