We started the day at school Gymnazium, Kukucinova in Poprad with a very warm welcome from the teachers and students and then moved to Reduta – a place where we had our training for three days. . We then gathered as a group over coffee, where we had the chance to introduce ourselves to one another. The discussion helped foster a sense of unity among the group, as we found common ground in our goals and aspirations for the program. Our conversations covered a variety of interests and ambitions, sparking excitement about the potential for learning and collaboration.

After the break,  the coach led us through a series of introductory activities designed to encourage self-reflection and emotional expression. She began by asking each of us to select three images from an assortment laid out on the floor—pictures that resonated with us or represented our current feelings and goals for the week. This activity encouraged us to think about our personal journeys and hopes for the Erasmus experience in a creative and expressive way. We then sat in a circle, with our name cards displayed in front of us. Tatianna introduced the principles of coaching, explaining that she would be demonstrating various techniques throughout the next two days. She put  active listening and empathy as the first most important skill, which  would be central to our interactions. We then engaged in our first practical exercise: This exercise enhanced our listening skills, helping us focus fully on our partners' words and demonstrating the importance of reflection in communication.

 

The teachers  cooperated in all activities, got very interested into the methods they were introduced and eagerly spoke about their experience from their schools
