FR24BV - PSLL – SHARE - Fair play Escape Game

The 40 students were divided into two groups and then redivided into 4 teams of 5. They were given cards withdifferent challenges to take up. The game was created by "Generation 2024", a  program which  is the fruit of a collaborative effort between the French Ministry of Education and Youth, the sports movement, school and university sports federations and the educational community. The cards were transformed so as to add the information in English. 

 The situation was the following: The Olympic and Paralympic flames have disappeared! They have been stolen by a group of individuals led by the infamous Doctor Flemme: the Flemméchants. Their supreme enemy is Captain, thefamous superhero or superheroine (take your pick!) you all know. Captain went after the thieves to recover the flames, but disappeared!  The students' mission was to set the Captatn free by solving problems. Each card was related to the Olympic  and Paralympic Games (values, ecological aspects, advice for a healthier and sustainable life style, Olympic places in Paris,etc..

The students all took an active part in the challenge and were very enthusiastic. The game being cooperative, therewas no real competition between the teams and everyone was integrated, whatever their skills. 

The Olympic values of friendship, respect, fair play, being together were really implemented.

The students communicated in English, shared their ideas and also had fun.

 Beyond play and fun, they also learnt about the Olympic values, the ecological aspects of the Olympic Games, especially in the field of energy, the Paralympic Games, the places in Paris connected with the Games,etc…
