Students were divided into five groups. Each group chose one of the topics connected with European day of victims of crime. They chose topics like Victim Support Europe, Crimes against women or Crime in Europe. Then they did research on these topics, using various graphs and tables. The result of their work was a poster that they presented in the presence of the teacher in three lessons of Society studies. They applied their knowledge within the lessons in which they dealt with the topic of political science. Together they discussed their topics with classmates and the teacher.​


Students learned that something like European day of victims exists and what it means. They found out which countries are safe, which are not and how safe is Slovakia. They learned how to search for information and then create graphs from it. Students really enjoyed working in groups and they learned how to work together and create posters. ​
