GR24 PSLL - DETERMINATION - The Power of the Impossible

Kornilios Sarantioglou gave a captivating speech titled "The Power of the Impossible," in which he unveiled his profound passion for nature, mountaineering, and rock climbing.
He has completed the Winter Mountain and Mountaineering Schools, as well as the Rock Climbing and Climbing Leaders schools, earning esteemed credentials from the Hellenic Federation Mountaineering and Climbing (EOOA).
His climbing expeditions have taken him to the French and Italian Alps and the Himalayas.
As an ambassador of The North Face, he has meticulously documented his endeavors through compelling film and photography, capturing his remarkable journey. Notably, in 2022, he led a climb of Mount Denali, Alaska, reaching an impressive altitude of 6,200 meters, producing the first Greek documentary for Greek television.

Students visited the theatre of 4th High School of Alimos and heard his motivational speech about following our dreams and never give up. Ηε spoke about Everest and the mental reserves required for such an over-effort, while he also explained the reasons why he started doing this particular sport.

Students who are encouraged to pursue their dreams are more likely to have a strong sense of self and a clear direction in life. Rather than waiting for someone else to tell them what to do, they will enjoy opportunities to develop confidence and competence. Hopefully, this activity helped them to follow their desires
