The aim was to prepare a table in Excel summarising records of the sportspeople in the Olympics held in Tokyo, Japan in 2020., to develop cooperation, cooperative learning, the involvement of SEN pupils, to learn to use statistic data and read graph, tables.

Skills necessary to gain and develop  were: computer skills, digital skills, communication skills, cooperation skills, ability to use tools appropriately and learn languages formally, non-formally and informally.

Students were divided into 4 groups. Their tasks  were to search the results of the Olympics from a different point of view, design the tables and graphs and complete them.

Each group has a different group of sports given: athletics, watersports, collective sports and other sports. Three students summarised the findings, designed graphs and summarise the results of all the groups. Finally they presented their work and described problems as well as what they had to learn to work out the product -its final version.


Students found all the data necessary to complete the chart. They learned how to work with numbers, read and write the tables, work out the chart and design graphs to offer visual option for their classmates to see.
