A moral dilemma is a situation in which two or more conflicting moral imperatives, none of which overrides the other, confront an agent. This is a situation in which every available choice is wrong.

A person is in an ethical dilemma if they stand under several conflicting moral obligations and no obligation overrides the others. Two ethical requirements are conflicting if the person can do one or the other but not both: the person has to choose one over the other. Two conflicting ethical requirements do not override each other if they have the same strength or if there is no sufficient ethical reason to choose one over the other.

Our students visited the school lab at their foreign and performed a research over 3 very famous moral dilemmas

  • Population Control
  • AI
  • Advanced Genetics & Synthetic Life Forms

Each dilemma has their pros and their cons.
Later the students were divided into groups of four students and debated about those dilemmas in the English language. Two students supported the pros and two the cons for each case.

A debate in the lab about the ethical dilemmas. A presentation also was produced that can be found here
