Guess Who is a great ice-breaking game that can be re-imaged to work as a diversity and inclusion activity.

Before our team meeting, we asked 30 students and some teachers through social media many light-hearted question.
What is your favorite fast food restaurant?

  • Favorite super-hero?
  • Facorite soccer team?
  • Favorite singer?
  • Favorite subject?
  • Favorite book?

Once we received all the answers we organized a meeting, presenting the answers to the questions and we let the students guess who came up with those answers.

This was a great opportunity for students to learn each other and appreciate the difference each student or teacher has, coming from a different background.
We laughed a lot and we had a great time together. It was a relaxing time and everyone could bring their own drinks.
Students realized that teachers have as well favorite singers and soccer teams and they are not so different after all

Promoting diversity and respect in everyones differences helps to enhance students’ morale, as they feel more welcomed into their school. When a school celebrates diversity through diversity team building activities, students feel they are a real part of the structure of the school and get closer to their friends and teachers.
