Students had a unique chance to experience the atmosphere of the Olympic games with all attributes that belong to it. Firstly, they gathered at the sport stadium and waited for the Olympic fire to come, then they ran one stadio with it and lit it. Afterwards they listened to the speeches of the Chairman of the Olympic games who opened it, listened to the rules from the referees and listened to the Olympic anthem which was made by the students of the school. The medals were presented by the students who made them. AFter the opening ceremony, they competed in five Greek Olympic disciplines - one stadio, javelin throw, disc throw, wrestling and hobby horsing. 

During the closing ceremony the winners were awarded the medal - bronze, silver and gold by the real Olympic athletes representing Slovakia at the Olympic games in Torino 2026. After all that, they had a little discussion with them about the features of the olympic athlete should have, about the atmosphere at the games and values the games present.

 

The students cooperated in the activity, learnt about the traditional Greek Olympic games and disciplines, enjoyed the winning atmosphere and got involved in the real Olympic values.
