FRJB24 PSLL PERSEVERANCE - Exhibition all sporty

Students are invited to take part in a major sporting and fun event : a reinvented decathlon. Based on the principles of this event, the exhibition showcases the athlete and his or her technique. The various stages take place at the same time, with students taking it in turns to take part in the 10 events. Each student takes his or her own journey, experimenting and having fun while gleaning information about the physiology, biology, physics, history and mechanics of sport.

Each stage consists of : A banner presenting : the title of the event, inspired by a French expression linking science, sport and society ; a broad definition of the expression and its sporting application. - Texts on the wall : post-experiment or complementary texts offering different levels of reading to go further in terms of scientific content ; a ‘Did you know? section offering key figures, definitions, etc. - Subtitled videos highlighting each topic through the testimonies of sportsmen and women. - Hands-on experiments to give you hands-on experience of the concepts covered. An ‘It's up to you’ panel to provide instructions. - A reading area with around thirty books on science and sport.

The students are then divided into groups of 2 or 3 /

-First, they are asked to go round the exhibition again, photographing 4-5 items that relate to one of the RESPectOlvalues of their choice.

-They have to create an Olympic medal by imagining that the Olympic Games could be held in Dunkirk in 2040, symbols of both the Olympics and Dunkirk.
