CAE – IDENTITY – WHO AM I ?

Students from the first year of the Erasmus+ class, along with 4 Polish and 4 Spanish students who have been immersed in the school for a month, take part in the second session of the theatre workshop with a director (Rachid Bouali).

Firstly, they all take part in a writing workshop based on two scripts in which they have to complete a sentence :

2-I walked...

After 5 minutes to think about each of the two sentence starters, each student speaks their sentences in front of the director and the rest of the class. At the end of the workshop, the director puts the sentences together to compose two collective texts that would be included in the final performance.

After that, the students are divided into 2 groups and spend an hour doing body exercises, first collectively in a circle, then in pairs. The aim is at working on the body using the elements (earth, air, water, fire) and materials (for example: being a spaghetti in a boiling pan).

The writing workshop enables the students to understand how their show would be constructed by developing their skills, exploring their creativity and exchanging ideas. It is an opportunity to learn, share and grow, and provides an encouraging and supportive environment where everyone can find inspiration and motivation.

The body expression workshop helps them integrate by communicating with others through gestures, group activities and in a climate of listening and trust, develop confidence in themselves and others, master their bodies, tone and vitality, and work on perseverance.
