FR24JB PSLL - PERFORMANCE - Sport activities at the PAARC

During the mobility in France, the Greek, Italian and French  students in nationally mixed pairs took part in a sports activity in the open air in a greenery setting at the edge of the Olympic rowing basin in Gravelines. Different activities are proposed. The students are split into three groups and have a list of challenges. 
1) Ergometer, indoor rowing machine: rowing to move the boat forward, students use the oars and they have to win challenges on water. 

2) Biathlon laser shooting: combine laser rifle shooting with running, the precision of target shooting and the physical effort of running. If one student manages to make five shots, he/she only has to run but if they don’t, they have to run and use electric scooters as well. 

3) Kayak on water. A race took place and the students had to be really active by pairs and coordinated.
The main goal is to consider environment as a friendly place associated with relaxation, peace and well-being.

The discussions and the exchanges about their physical sensations allowed them to identify the difficulties encountered. 
The pupils played sport activities. In that way they continue to work on getting to know each other while exercising games together.

This entailed working in teams, in a non-competitive environment and having fun while communicating in English/French.
These activities gave the students a beautiful, funny and unforgettable experience.

Students have socialized with peers from other countries and understood tolerance and openness between different cultures and backgrounds. Playing non-competitive sport activities in groups are the basis for creating connections between them. They developed strength, balance and coordination skills, concentration, precision and speed. It was a real success.The good weather made the event very pleasant. All remembered that moment as a playful way of developing  team spirit and cohesion.
