The class, divided into two groups, attends an education session on emotional and sexual life run by a school nurse and a family and marriage counsellor from the Dunkirk planning centre. This awareness-raising session is based on a questionnaire on transidentity, the differences between non-binary and intersex people, the concepts of gender dysphoria and detransition, transphobia, and finally the question of defining the notion of identity. 

Following this talk, the students in the class are divided into groups of 4 and asked to think about this awareness-raising exercise :

What they learned

What surprised them

What bothered them 

Finally, they are asked to find 4 values of the Respectol project that had been invoked during the presentation and to justify their choice.

 

Each group presents the answers to the questions put to them at the end of the presentation on a poster, which they illustrate with a photograph taken during the awareness-raising session.
