CC EQUALITY Night of law

On Wednesday 4 October, as part of “The Night of Law 2023”, the Judicial Court of Dunkirk, in partnership with the victims' aid association and the Solfa Sedire association, is organising a musical show entitled "Éclats de voix", followed by discussions with the audience, in the Salle Commerce of the Judicial Court, at the Place du Palais de Justice in Dunkirk.

Programme :

♦ Musical show - The vocal collective "Elles" directed by Nathalie Manceau, through songs, music, texts, will lead us to reflect on women's rights.

♦ Discussion with the audience

→ Explanation of how the project came about and the choice of texts and songs for the show by the artists from the "Elles" vocal collective, who will also talk about how they felt about performing at the Palais de Justice.

→ Presentation of the different protection mechanisms for women victims within the Dunkerque Judicial Court by a judicial assistant from the Dunkirk Judicial Court. 

→ Presentation of victim support services, from the moment a complaint is lodged until the judgment is enforced, by members of the victim support association, the Dunkirk Bar Association and the Solfa Sedire association.

→ Speakers will answer any questions from the audience.

Students learn about the French legal system and the penalties for abusing women. They can talk to lawyers, judges, members of associations and artists committed to the cause of women.
