FRJB25 MC - JOY - Welcome to school

The students were taken to the « foyer » in school to have some breakfast and to start to get to know each other. The French coordinator hold a welcome speech to everybody before we could start working and provides a dossier with information about the week programme, the list of participants, main facts about France, the region and Dunkirk. They sat with their correspondents and started directly to get to know the students from the other countries. In the meantime, students from Lycée Jean Bart had a concert playing and singing French and English well known songs that you could sing along to which created a very nice atmosphere.
Targeted students are brought to one presentation room. Irish, Slovakian team presents their hometowns, the main features of the area and their high school and their daily life there. The presentations took place in the Lams Room. The students used power point, clips, pictures while presenting their country and what is special for them. It is really a discovering for all to see some different schools in our Erasmus+.

The French team presents some of the results of their mobilities in Ireland. They also project the videos about their findings, the week spent, the activities they carried out, gave some impressions about the trips of course. That moment was conlude with a Kahoot about the agenda.

The students  got to know each other for the first time for Slovakian in an unformal and easy way. They had something to eat before starting to work at school. They all experienced a nice welcome by the French students and teachers and saw for the first time what a French sweet breakfast consists of croissants, juices etc. The students got to know each other a bit more and learnt about each country’s culture, traditions, history and specialties. In that way they knew a bit more about each other which led to further discussions in between the nationalities. They also practiced listening and understanding English when presenting. The music atmosphere gave good vibes and a relax atmosphere. All the teams were paying attention to the other presentations. Everybody got to know the project.
