FR24JB PSLL - PERFORMANCE - Let’s go to swing - Golf

The teacher covers fundamentals of the grip/ set-up (body alignment, posture, stance & ball position). Students try the Putting and Full swing.

1. Cooperation is key: Golf may be a competition, but it is spirit of cooperation. Even the most bitter enemies can find common ground on the green. 
2. Humility is valuable: Many of the world's best golfers are shockingly humble. Win or lose, students might show other players the respect they deserve. It creates opportunities for us to find mentors, people who are willing to share what they learn and motivate us to succeed. 
3. Hard work is more important than luck: Luck plays a surprisingly small role in the game. 
4. Never say never: Golf teaches students not to give up, even in the face of repeated failures. 
5. Silence is golden: Students revel in the peace and quiet, which allows them to better focus on their technique. 
6. Make the most of each situation: Complaining doesn't accomplish anything
7. Don't ruminate on failures: Each shot is a different story. This concept is incredibly valuable in daily life, everybody comes up short sometimes, but no matter how bad we mess up, there is always an opportunity to turn it around.
8. Jitters are normal and controllable: Years of training may not eliminate these, but with practice, they can be controlled and even harnessed for better performance. Pressure is part of the game (golf and life). 
9. Visualization is a useful tool: it can be valuable in a variety of situations and environments. Before swinging, it helps to visualize every element of the maneuver, and what will happen to the ball after it is hit. 
10. The big picture is important: the workshop is a series of swings, but each swing aims for one specific goal. Golfers need to know where they are going and how they plan to get there.

This game got the students moving, encouraged them to reach out to others, to discover more personal aspects of themselves. The students get to know each other better after this golf lesson and are ready to work together.
